    I am a grown woman.

    I have 2 kids.

And.. I never mastered the art of applying eyeliner!!

I watched countless youtube videos and i tried for hours, but i can’t get it on straight and it always smudges.

    Any tips or ideas?

This is a great website that has helped guide me through: http://www.byrdie.com/eyeliner-for-beginners/slide10
Try using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil ($20) – this smooth pencil glides on easily and is more forgiving with shaky hands than liquid or gel.
It def takes a lot of practice so make sure to have eye-makeup remover at hand. Good luck!!

I second that! Urban decay 24/7 liner is best eyeliner ever!

Tip- make sure it’s sharp enough so you have more control of the line. Also, don’t close your eyes tightly because the eyelid creases and the line will be different once you open .

Hi! It depends what eye liner you use. I love the smashbox liquid pen, Lancome artliner, or stila. I recommend you go to Sephora or Nordstrom, Lord and Taylor etc and ask them to guide you! Good luck

Till I got my eyeliner the way I wanted it I put it on messy then I take a q-tip with makeup remover and make it neat and straight

Go to sephora and ask someone to show you step by step
I say Sephora because they have a variety of company’s and you can ask them which ones they recommend for a beginner

The smudges can be coming from the eye liner you are using maybe try another company liner also what type of liner are you using the pencil liquid crayon…. There are so many types of liners maybe try another type and it will be easier for you
