We’re so excited to be hosting a Chanukah party, and our main goal was to create a beautiful, and exciting setup without breaking the bank.
At Metziahs, we love showing you that stunning home decor and party designs don’t have to come with a hefty price tag.
First off, we used a gold sequin tablecloth from Amazon, for only $20 – Get it HERE
We then built a balloon arch…
Creating the balloon arch was so easy! Here’s what I did:
- A balloon blower was used to inflate a pack of balloons from Dollar Tree ($1.23).
- Poked a safety pin through each balloon knot and threaded it onto a string, repeating the process until all the balloons were strung together.
- Added extra string for some added flair and interest.
The entire project was super simple, and I love how it turned out! Total cost: $3.69 (once you have a blower)
- Safety pins: $1.23
- Balloons: $1.23
- String: $1.23

We used ‘placemats’ which is contact paper from Dollar Tree for $1.23 each
The candles were from a dollar store, purchased years ago, and I added some blue ribbon I already had on hand.
As you might have guessed, all the paper goods are from Dollar Tree too! 🙂
I folded the napkins horizontally and tucked them under the plates—it’s a simple touch that instantly elevates the look.

The picture frames, which cost $1.23 each, will serve as place cards. I’ll write each name on a white card to insert into the frame. The bags came in a pack of three for $1.23—I might leave them empty or fill them with a dreidel and some coins.
We will be playing pictionary on a markerboard you can order HERE!
Lastly, check out our Chanukah Spotify Playlist!
And that’s a wrap! With just a little creativity and some good deals, we pulled together a beautiful and fun Chanukah setup that everyone can enjoy.
Happy Chanukah to all!

Job well done ! Thank you for always showing us how to make it beautiful and not breaking the bank!
