My 3 year old has bad excema and as a result of him constantly scratching, he has recurring infections. We have tried the steroid creams and tens of creams on him but nothing seems to be helping it. I know that there are lots of diets (GAPS, SCD) that work miracles in adults, but does anyone have any experience with little kids and would recommend that path?

Food definitely has a connection to eczema. Have experience with 2 kids in completely different situations. First try allergist if nothing comes up try a natural way. And please wean off cortisone and steroids. It makes the eczema seem better at first but then makes it worse. Talking from alot of experience here.

Try changing to sensitive detergent. My son had eczema… besides for having to do with being allergic…it made a tremendous difference changing detergent (even needed to change detergent foe my clothes because when i would hold him he would flare up…. ) and instead of all steroids (which not healthy when used so much) we would cover him up with Vaseline from head to toe every night. (Had really bad eczema and made huge difference.

My friend has a child with eczema. She changed to the arbonne baby shampoo, lotion and it helped immediately. When her son had flare ups she used the rash cream, and all 3 items together, got rid of all the eczema.
