Heels in the snow

I have a simcha this weekend & “need” to wear heels. There is no eruv (yet) and i want to know if anyone tried this & has “snow tips”

Why not just leave your heels at your destination before Shabbat? Then you can walk safely in boots if needed.

and avoid wearing suede if possible cuz it’s gonna get all marked up

I wore heels in snow and the heel/Tap came off the shoe and they were not cheap shoes
