I honestly think homework is a waste of time a kid gets home from school and wants to play they’ve been sitting all day and now they want to just have fun or do their own thing the last thing they want to do it homework. It’s also a waste of time for the teacher she has to go through the homework and make sure it’s correct….

For high school students I don’t believe there should be homework it puts such a pressure on the girls and it’s a pressure they don’t need my daughter comes home from a long day in school she eats dinner and goes rite to do her homework and studying it’s insane she has no social life because she’s always busy with school work I wish the high schools would stop giving homework

Homework does teach children responsibility, thats foresure! But on the other hand, it also puts a lot of pressure, especially to the high school girls. Im still not sure why no one thought of the idea yet of having homework, but not every single night, and maybe to cut it down a little bit. Why should a high school girl have to spend her entire night with it? A little bit of homework and then they can relax after a long day of school.

I consider myself lucky because my kids’ school has just the right balance. They have homework most nights, but not so much that it becomes a pressure for them or for me. I think it’s because it is such a small school that parents who want to see changes don’t have to fight the “system” too much. The administration always has time to hear opinions and that was one thing all the parents agreed on. The kids are taught more important things like middot and kindness. There is absolutely no bullying in the entire school. It seems to be working! I know many successful schools who have almost no homework. It’s a shame it reached such a stress point for alot of students.

I think homework in moderation is okay but most of the time it just gets out of hand
