    Don’t hate me! SOMEONE was bound to open this topic. Anyone struggling with weight loss issues? Any good advice or tips? Maybe your success stories?

    good tip is to start with small fixes, like pick one and then build up. examples like drinking a lot of water, eating a good breakfast, not taking doubles by dinner, avoiding soda and candy, switching from white flour to whole wheat (this just makes you full for longer), not eating after seven pm etc. if you start with one of these healthy changes and then build up it’s easier

    That’s really good advice, thank you. I’m 54 and my metabolism is kaput! The weight comes off so slowly (and sometimes not at all), even if I do all the right things. Anyone else going through this?

    i drink a lot of soda – which makes me feel full – and have a few small small snacks throughout the day. It sounds & may be unhealthy but it works for me.

    I had a lot of success with the dukan diet. It’s a little extreme but it helped me lose a lot of weight.

    Dukan diet i heard is a bit tough for the average person.

      You’re right, the dukan diet is hard, but for people that need to lose a lot of weight it works. I’ve been on it for 6 weeks and lost 15 pounds.

    Diet
    One carb a day
    So everything else eaten is protein and then you can have 1 T of fat no sugar and one day of the week you do the opposite one protein everything else carb

    even if you are trying to lose weight the most important meal of the day is breakfast so maker sure not to skip breakfast!

    Drinking soda makes you feel full & may work to “squelch” hunger!
