Welcome to the most inviting room in our house!  The family room is for “couch potatoe-ing” and doubles as a playroom for the main floor!

The purposes of this room are completely informal and the decor definitely reflects that! We started by painting the wall and closets black and white and going with all black seating. Everything beyond that was about color. The contrast adds to the fun and drama.

 

I love the way the world looks brighter and happier from our family room. Kind of the way I feel when our family is all together playing games and hanging out in here.
